For charging of almost all EV and PHEV models,
Charges a typical electric car, such as a Nissan Leaf or Renault Zoe, from empty to full in 3 to 6 hours. You can use this EV charger to charge any plug in vehicle even if it takes a lower max power such as 16amp/3.6kw, the charger adjusts the output to the level the car is happy with up to 7.4kw per hour.
The charge point will need to be installed on its own dedicated circuit, in line with building regulations and by a qualified electrician. The unit comes with installation and operating instructions. It can be installed at a domestic or business premises.
The unit is fitted with AC (30mA) and DC (6mA) leakage protection, so can be installed without the need for an additional Type B RCD.
